Sunset beach Earth Details

The high waves that approach the flat beaches begin to break at a considerable distance from the coast creating a foam that gradually spreads over the descending surface of the wave.

The beaches are formed by sediments of different sizes, which can range from fine sand particles to boulders. Most of the beaches are composed of siliceous sand. However, in many of them, especially in tropical areas, the presence of fragmented shells or corals means that sediments have a high carbonate content.
