Earth is a planet-ocean. From the Earth's low orbit, the Sea Star spacecraft instrument reviews the colors of all oceans to see changes in the climate and biosphere of our aquatic world.
The images of the SeaWiFS can also follow the color changes in the land masses, as in this photograph of the Planet, taken on January 27, 2000, which shows us the region of the great lakes and the area of the Atlantic coast in North America.
This view reveals the magnitude of the white station with solid phase water dropped over the US. This stormy storm delighted the children, but it caused serious problems. The Atlantic coast of North America periodically receives powerful snowfall.
